Job requirements :

• Full-time bachelor's degree from technic faculty, Mandarin literature or any other equal degree;
• at least 2 (two) years of experience as a Mandarin Technical Translator or as a Project Coordinator with a technical background will be an advantage;
• Fluent in Mandarin both in oral and writing skills;
• Familiar with Indonesian culture and good at understanding and expressing in the Mandarin language;
• Good personal image, strong interpersonal communication, and coordination skills, and good teamwork spirit as well;
• Preferably based in Jakarta and willing to have business travel to Sadai, South Bangka, or any designation appointed by the Company;
• Have good computer literacy;
• Having working experience in a power plant project would be an advantage.

Job descriptions :

A Mandarin Technical Translator will be mainly responsible for interpreting written or spoken technical material into one or more other languages, ensuring meaning and context are maintained, making sure that the translated version conveys the meaning of the original as clearly as possible.

• Will be responsible for all relevant Mandarin translation and interpretation from daily conversation needs to written technical documents;
• Being an intermediary between the local colleagues with the foreign professional, assure that both parts understand well the context, expression, and meaning from the conversational, discussion, and meeting to the agreement and various kinds of reports;
• Research for the technical and scientific phraseology to find the correct translation to expedite and ensure there are no unnecessary misunderstandings;
• Being a part of project management to ensure the project runs well.
