Job Description

Responsible for creating and maintaining a high-quality, creative and unique portfolio of products and services including hotels & resorts, sightseeing tours & excursions, attractions, multi-day packages and transfers. Manage the contracting of accommodation and land services, producing annual tariffs, sourcing and reviewing new products, special offers and supporting product-sales-competitor analysis. Identify and explore areas for business growth while measuring the impact of product against sales, maintaining exceptional standards and managing deadlines and costing. Champion a culture of collaboration, open communication, clear direction, accountability and performance management.

3. Pricing and Purchasing
4. Supplier Management
5. Client Relationship Management
6. Sustainability and Health & Safety Implementation 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

Education and Experience

• Bachelor degree in tourism or business administration or any related fields
• 8+ years experience in the tourism industry in a product, sales, reservations, marketing and /or operation capacity. 
• Proven experience in successfully managing a travel product portfolio with a strong commercial and customer focus.
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing product development, with a strong purchasing background. 
• In-depth knowledge of the functioning of operating units within a DMC. 
• Experience in team management.

Required Skills

• Thorough knowledge of the Indonesian tourism industry.
• Self-motivated, highly organised, pro-active and flexible. 
• Systematic and logical approach to solving problems, with ability to incorporate creativity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English
• A good working knowledge of the travel industry, including competitor activity.
• Strong work ethic with a real commitment to continuous improvement.
• Leadership ability & Ability to work as a team.
• Good interpersonal skill with ability to work well with all levels of managements, department heads and support staf
