We are seeking an experienced Senior Anti Money Laundering Specialist to join our financial technology company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective anti-money laundering program in compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement anti-money laundering policies, procedures, and controls in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Monitor and analyze transactions for potential money laundering risks and suspicious activity.
• Conduct investigations of suspicious activity and prepare detailed reports for submission to regulatory authorities as necessary.
• Keep abreast of changes in the regulatory landscape and update policies and procedures accordingly.
• Provide training and guidance to other team members on anti-money laundering policies and procedures.
• Work with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective implementation of anti-money laundering controls.
• Participate in industry working groups and regulatory initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in anti-money laundering compliance within the financial services industry.
• In-depth knowledge of anti-money laundering laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify potential money laundering risks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Professional certification in anti-money laundering, such as the CAMS or CFE, is preferred.
• Experience in a financial technology company is a plus.
