Lowongan Sustainability Manager di PT Evans Indonesia

The Sustainability Manager is responsible for managing the sustainability unit of a UK-owned palm oil plantation in Indonesia that is tasked to research, develop and implement policies that improve the organization’s impact on the environment without detracting from its business goals, and that adhere to all laws and regulations covering the palm oil industry. The position is responsible for leading the sustainability practices throughout the organization and working closely with all the operating units within the organization to implement sustainability policies in accordance with RSPO, ISPO, ISCC and ESG standards. 

The position liaises closely with the organization’s UK head office and with government regulators about the achievement of sustainability goals and adherence to sustainability standards, respectively, by the organization. 

JOB REQUIRED :

1. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. A postgraduate degree in environmental science, sustainable development or social policy is highly desirable. 
2. Familiarity with relevant sustainability initiatives such as the SDG17, GRI, and the RSPO is an advantage
3. Accustomed to environmental management plans and carbon accounting and understand global human rights issues such as gender equity, discrimination, and modern slavery.
4. Willing to relocate to Jakarta, and travel to plantation sites a few times a year.
5. Fluency in verbal and written English.
