Logistics supervisors are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations logistics department. Logistics supervisors may also be tasked with developing new processes or procedures to improve efficiency, quality, or cost effectiveness.

Job Description:

• Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors to ensure they deliver high quality products at competitive prices.
• Ensuring that all orders are delivered on time by following up with suppliers if they are behind schedule.
• Monitoring inventory levels and ordering new supplies as needed to ensure that products are available when needed.
• Managing employees by providing training in effective work habits and performance techniques
• Monitoring freight costs and insurance coverage to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Coordinating with vendors to arrange shipping schedules, methods, and pricing.
• Coordinating with shipping companies to arrange pickup and delivery of goods.
• Overseeing warehouse operations, including employee hiring and training, inventory management, and waste disposal
• Planning routes for delivery trucks to take based on traffic patterns and road conditions.

Requirement:

• Undergraduate / Postgraduate (Logistic/Supply Chain Management) or any other related major from reputable university
• Minimum 3+ experience in the Supervisor position
• Experience in mining industry or heavy equipment would be preferred.
• Target-oriented, detailed, and budget-sensitive person
• Placement at Halmahera Maluku Utara
