Job Summary

Coordinating with department head on production schedule to achieve the shipment dateline, with supervisors on daily production schedule, with other related department such as maintenance and logistics to ensure the production to proceed in accordance with product specifications and production target.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Accountable for daily production schedule and ensuring all plants are in operation and meeting the targeted production quality and quantity for every shift.
2. To ensure storage tanks related to designated plant are utilize and optimize.
3. To execute production planning work activity as per instruction by Production Manager.
4. To ensure Supervisor issue out work permit as per SOP and approve the work to be carry out.
5. Continuously works towards improving and maintaining factory, plant equipment, environmental and safety aspects.
6. Responsible to works with Production and Process Engineer to ensure plant operation meeting the safety, food safety and equipment reliability.
7. Responsible of overseeing the entire factory operation during normal and shift working hours related to safety, security, equipment reliability and emergency response.
8. Responsible to ensure Supervisor and technician carry out the routine and non-routine housekeeping within the work area in order to promote safe working environment.
9. Ensuring supervisor/technician comply with the quality specification as per stated in PT PSS Quality Plan.
10. Providing on job training (OJT) to new and existing supervisor/boardman/ technician to ensure their skills and knowledge as per SOP.
11. Ensure the start-up and shutdown activity safely executed for plant/equipment during any emergency stoppage/planned stoppage and annual shutdown stoppage.
12. Responsible to prepare shift arrangement for the manpower of supervisor/boardman/technician.
13. Participate in equipment ownership and total productive maintenance develop by management.
14. Involved in safety/product safety program organized by SSHE Department or management.
15. To carry out any other work instructions from superior at any time.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum D3 Chemical or Mechanical
2. Minimum 5 years working experience inchemical / oleochemical refinery / palm oil mill. Priority given to those experience in oleochemical industry handling splitter, distillation column and hydrogenation plant.
3. Has good leadership and communication skills to lead a group of team member.
4. Applicants should be Indonesian citizens and hold relevant resident status.
5. Possess minimum process knowledge on plant trouble shooting.
6. Knowledge in computer will be an added advantage
7. Knowledge in Distributed Control System (DCS) or Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) will be added advantage
8. Able to speak in English will be an added advantage
