Job Brief

Procurement responsibilities include researching new suppliers, ensuring that all purchased products and materials meet our specifications, and negotiating with vendors as needed.

Job Description :

• Maintaining relationships with vendors, including negotiating contracts and reviewing contracts for legal compliance
• Recommending new suppliers and negotiating supplier contracts to ensure that all terms are met
• Preparing reports on expenditures and analyzing trends in spending to identify areas of potential waste or abuse
• Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers who can meet the company’s needs
• Following up with vendors to ensure that orders are delivered on time and within budget parameters
• Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or a similar field preferred
• Proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role
• Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Experience working in the field of building construction is preferred
