Main Purposes of the Job:

1. To oversee the Business Unit's Accounting and Financial Reporting functions-

2. To provide timely and accurate financial information/analysis to help the Business Unit meet its profit objectives and

3. To ensure external/statutory reporting obligations are satisfied.

Responsibilities

Financials & Reporting

• To oversee all tax reporting obligation including monthly tax returns and annual filling of corporate income tax return.

• To improve its accounting process and system as well as their financial reporting

• To identify financial risk and opportunities in order to support monthly management reporting. budgeting- and forecasting cycles.

• To review daily accounting transactions / operations within the business unit

• To liaise with external stakeholders – including external auditor.

• To advise and counsel Senior Management on accounting matters and on the potential impact of current and future accounting standards on the Business Unit’s operation.

Internal Control- SOX & Compliance

• Reviewing- identifying and improving internal processes and procedures- ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented & maintained in accordance with global policies. Challenge existing processes and make recommendations driving continuous efficiency and improvements.

• Partner with the other finance teams- senior business support and function managers as appropriate to maintain effective process and financial controls and minimize financial risk

Payable

• To review (perform three-way match) and record invoice from vendor

• Send the list of payment to Treasury team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Economics is preferable

• 1 -2 years of experience in Audit background or has been experienced taking care of bookkeeping

• Demonstrate strong technical accounting skills and understanding of accounting principles include local GAAP and US GAAP.

• Good excel skill

• Fluent in English
