Brief Job Description:

  • Attract new clients and oversee the sales process for the business
  • Work with senior team members to identify and manage company risks
  • Identify and research opportunity in new and existing markets
  • Prepare and deliver pitches and presentations to potential new clients
  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to their problems
  • Deliver sales volume to meet targeted sales objectives
  • Creating positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients

Detailed Job Description:

  • Acquire new leads and turn them into customers (sales funnel)
  • Initiate TI’s for product approvals (potentials; volume & price, customer feedback)
  • Risk control; manage overdues, credit limits & CAR’s
  • Customer visit planning (incl. technical & management visits needed)
  • Develop strategic multi-site key account plan, sales region and focus markets
  • Construct business plans and communicate financial ideas on multiple levels
  • Opportunity management, pipeline / sales funnel filled 1.5 million sales (> 60% certainty)
  • Guide new sales product & customers and work closely with R&D and product managers to develop and launch new product ideas
  • Feed competitive information into marketing
  • Reporting and keeping system up to date (CRM, S&OP, sales funnel and budgets)
  • Responsible for ASIA customers and if applicable for sales through indirect sales channels (agencies and distributors)
  • Lead customer development projects and contribute in cross departmental
  • projects
  • Guide new employees and sales colleagues in practical experience and technical know how
  • Execute continuous improvement (e.g. S&OP, TI’s, sales funnel, overdues etc)

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must have at least experience in field of dyes (colors), or chemical business and B2B Selling
  • 5 years of work experience in a related field preferred
  • Good communication in both Indonesian and English
  • Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, honest and disciplined
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns
  • Flexible, highly committed and result oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability
  • Willing to travel (~50% of the time)
