Job Description:

The application specialist job description includes helping troubleshoot issues related to products by analyzing available information and taking necessary steps for its resolution under which added scope of work is as follows:

  • Serve as a key business partner to clients in the field and develop and maintain strong relationships.
  • Determine the needs, goals, product usage, and types of cases handled by specific customers by meeting with and asking in-depth questions of physicians and other hospital personnel to learn which products can best address their specific needs.
  • Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., clinical research, pricing and/or marketing) to develop optimal solutions.
  • Develop relationships with hospital personnel (e.g., through casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences) to make new contacts in other departments within the hospital and to identify key purchasing decision makers to facilitate future sales.
  • Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (e.g., slides, transparencies, manuals)
  • Performance of QA procedures and Troubleshooting aspects in coordination with affiliates.
  • Delivering customize presentation during demo installations and training at the customer site.
  • Providing technical support to the teams within the organization and to external clients whenever required
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of instruments at customer sites
  • Responsible for the creation of tickets into the CRM system and to ensure the information needed is properly encoded to the database and kept up to date. During installation, demonstration, troubleshooting and repair of the instruments.
  • Implementation of processes and managing customer specific account strategies to drive utilization of the instruments
  • Ensure all documentation updates provided by the supplier are being implemented as required.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues at customer sites.
  • Manage complaints of the customers through escalation process both local and international level as required.
  • Ability to manage multi-task and make independent decisions while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple and changing priorities.

Education and Experience

  • Educational Level/Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Radiology
  • Experience:

o   Working experience with medical device applications software
