Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a global leading supplier of equipment and tools, service and technical solutions for the mining and construction industries. Application areas include rock drilling, rock cutting, crushing and screening, loading and hauling, tunneling, quarrying and breaking and demolition.

Job Summary

Sandvik is seeking applications from motivated individuals for Customer Order Desk based in Jakarta.

The role is First interface to customer to provide a world class customer service to both existing and prospective customers. Proactively provide industry leading sales support which exceeds customer expectations and fosters customer loyalty and a positive customer experience in order to support the achievement of sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Customer & Market Understanding

  • Stays current on industry developments, competitive offerings and issues affecting sales and customers and communicate to relevant functions/stakeholders
  • Work closely with the sales team and support them to achieve sales objectives and improve the sales efficiency and customer satisfaction

Sales Growth & Development

  • As first point of contact for customers, actively promote/sell parts, tools and service to support customer customers in alignment with their needs by:
  • ** Identify and follow up on opportunities to convert to sales
  • ** Pro-active backorder management
  • ** Initiate proactive calls to understand fleet status / concerns / opportunities
  • ** Visit customers where required
  • ** Ensure customer orders are processed from enquiry to order /collection
  • Support and develop existing business in line with customer segmentation, rules and procedures
  • Actively Identify and follow up sales opportunities to support sales operations.
  • Assign opportunities to PSSR's through case management created opportunities

Communication

  • Liaise with Logistics and Inventory Controllers to ensure appropriate stock levels and stocked items
  • Liaise with Logistics and Inventory Controllers to take necessary action on outstanding items and delivery issues processing
  • Attend & participate in relevant stakeholder meetings/activities e.g. price reviews, budget preparation, tender preparation, account planning, sales meetings etc
  • Attend and participate in relevant stakeholder meetings/activities
  • Follow up & coordinate with supply chain network on outstanding items
  • Proactive follow up calls and mails to the customer, keeping them updated + relationship building

Continuous Improvement

  • General system and process administration including data error management
  • Regularly review KPI's and take corrective action where required
  • Manage own customer orders or open jobs and take corrective actions where needed to ensure performance met CSC agreed standard.
  • Identify new delivery sequences & info - send to data stewards
  • Identify new leads & delivery sequences and coordinate updated systems information Identify and maintain the customer master file information in CRM, as well as active fleet status update
  • Maintain working knowledge of products and their functions for their respective customer groups
  • Maintain ability and grow knowledge on ecommerce channels for order processing.
  • Advanced in ecommerce channels. Different tasks for different levels based on experience.
  • All CSC will require ecommerce skills
  • Take responsibility for your own personal training and improve your skills

Customer Service

  • Expedite customer orders and actions from backlog reports
  • Escalates criticality 1 orders/enquires to the regional Machine Emergency Response team and keep customer informed of progress
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by manager

​Education, Experience & Competencies

  • Certificate or diploma in business, marketing or sales or equivalent experience
  • Diploma in business or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 Years experience
  • Inside sales experience
  • Driver's License (disposable)
  • Intermediate English proficiency (disposable)
  • Microsoft Office minimum at intermediate level.
  • Ability to travel
