Summary:

1. Accountable for safety hazard analysis to meet zero lost time accident in relevant plant.
2. To optimize plant throughput with constructive proposal.
3. To provide appropriate recommendation for product quality matter

Roles and Responsibilities

1. To ensure each unit of operation is working to target capacity, quality, cost efficiency and safety standard.
2. To work with Production Superintendent to execute production planning activity.
3. Liaise closely with maintenance and technical to ensure designated plant achieved high process reliability and production targets.
4. To perform process trouble shooting and resolve quality problem.
5. To develop SOP for all unit operations in order to ensure the operations are safe, reliable and meeting the quality standard.
6. Plan, organize and coordinate plant maintenance works.
7. Provide training to Plant Supervisor/Boardman/Technician for continuously upgrading their quality of work and process understanding.   
8. Monitor and ensure Production Capacity, Plant Utilities, Production Consumables and Chemical Consumption are within target/budget.  
9. To meet and comply with all quality or safety management system requirements.
10. To liaise with maintenance for plant & equipment up-keep.
11. To monitor wastes generated from designated plant and propose mitigation if deviation found.                                                                   
12. Responsible to develop annual shutdown master schedule during annual shutdown and lead the start up.stoppage activity during annual shutdown.
13. Compliance with governmental and local regulations/ requirements.
14. Comply with all quality standards and requirements set by the Company as well as meeting the product specification required by customers.

Desirable Skills

1. Minimum education S1 Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
2. Minimum year of experiences 3 years in Oleo chemical industry or similar industries
3. Basis experience in fluid engineering such as a pipe, pump and heat exchanger sizing.
4. Analytical mind in process solving and trouble shooting. 
5. Mass & energy balance for optimization.
6. Basic knowledge in instrumentation, mechanical and DCS.
7. Basic knowledge in system management.
8. Mature, patient, reliable. 
9. Good response on decision making for process interruption.
