Lowongan Manager Operational Air Freight Forwarding di PT Bimaruna Jaya

Responsibilities:

• Manage overall export and import operations air freight.
• Manage the airfreight department including staff members
• Develop the transport network within air freight
• Regularly communicating with new and existing clients
• Develop, implement and continuously enhance air freight forwarding operational procedures (import and export).
• Lead negotiation of rates and contracts with air carriers.
• Collaborate with sales functions to execute business plan targets.
• Build and maintain long term relations with clients, airlines and terminals.
• Oversee compliance with TSA, Customs, laws and regulations for importing and exporting.
• Flexibility to adjust work schedule based on operational requirements.
• Handle any issues or challenges that may arise
• To be primary point of contact for the customer, selling Freight forwarding PT. Bimaruna Jaya services across (Sea freight, Airfreight, Overland) with a specific focus on Airfreight
• Organizes, plans, and facilitates the day-to-day work of a team of Air Freight Operations

Experienced required:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in an airfreight supervisory or management position.
• Candidates must hold at least a Bachelor's degree
• Experience leading and managing an air freight team at least 5-10 members, coaching, training and motivating staff
• Strong knowledge of command of documentation, procedures and rules for air cargo transportation.
• Experience with Cargowise preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A true passion for customer service; you enjoy delivering your best to clients.
• Prior experience in freight Forwarding or third party logistics (3PL) Industry
• Effective communication skills are needed 
• Provident with Microsoft Office Application
• Fluent in English language, both in written and verbal
• Able to work in teams and individually 
• Proactive, independent, solution-oriented individuals 
• Able to work under pressure
• Have a leadership spirit and can form a team for the air freight division that is target oriented
