GENERAL FUNCTION :

Coordinates and supervises the activities of Deputy Managers & Development Team Leaders. Directs, coordinates and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration and completion of projects. Plans and formulates engineering programs, organize project staffs and assigns project personnel.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Coordinates and supervises the activities of the development Deputy Managers and of the Team Leaders under his responsibility in the following division of the Development Department: Platform Solutions, the division in charge of the Software Development solutions
2. Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority, analyses and organizes office operations and procedures, within his division of the Development Department,
3. Evaluates production, advises for procedure revisions, creates new procedures and/or forms to improve efficiency of workflow, advises for cost reduction programs.
4. Establishes communication standard procedures and style practices for information transfer and/or information sharing, within his division of the Development Department, and formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records and information, according to the rules and procedures as established by 1rstWAP's Quality Assurance/Quality Control Group or department,
5. Reviews Deputy Manager, Team Leader, QA Staff and Software Engineer records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness,
6. Prepares activity reports for guidance of management, prepares employee ratings and conducts employee benefit and insurance programs, coordinates activities of various divisions or workers within the department.
7. Hire, train, and supervise Deputy Manager, Team Leader, and Software Engineer staff, under the responsibility of the Director of Development Department, Analyses and evaluates staff recommendations and approves implementation of changes, utilizing knowledge of reports analysis and standardization, managerial processes and systems, and organizational policies and procedures,
8. Actively participate to the requirement specifications, to the design specifications, and to the decisions related to design specification, in the frame specified by the rules and procedures as established by 1rstWAP's Quality Assurance/Quality Control Group or department.
9. Actively participate to the realization of specification documents for requirement specification and design specification, in the frame specified by the rules and procedures as established by 1rstWAP's Quality Assurance/Quality Control Group.

Under the direction of the Managing Director, to whom he will report, the Manager tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Actively supporting the implementation of Quality Assurance/Quality Control policy rules and procedures as established by 1rstWAP's Quality Assurance/Quality Control Group or department, the implementation of these Quality Assurance/Quality Control policy rules and procedures in his division being under his responsibility, under the supervision of the Managing Director,
• Organizing, animating, or participating to internal meetings, including, but not limited to, project meetings, development workshops, information meetings,
• Organizing, animating or participating to external meetings involving 3rd party companies (partners of 1rstWAP, suppliers, customers, administrations, etc.)
• Investigating new development solutions, in order to improve the performances, the size, and/or the quality of the developed software,
• Replacing in case of emergency and for a limited time possibly missing Deputy Manager, Team Leader, or Software Engineer, thus overtaking the corresponding responsibilities assigned to the missing person,
• When required, participating to internal and external trainings, including, but not limited to, technical trainings, learning foreign languages, and information and implementation of Quality Assurance/Quality Control policy rules and procedures as established by 1rstWAP's Quality Assurance/Quality Control Group or department,
• Organizing and providing trainings of department personnel and others on IT development issues related to his development scope.
• Reaction, edition and completion of the source code by the team under his responsibility, within his scope of development activities, in respect of the quality and reusability rules and metrics active in 1rstWAP for quality control, in the programming language specified by the application development requirements,
• Creation and completion of the software documentation created by the team under his responsibility, within his scope of development activities, in respect of the quality and reusability rules and document templates active in 1rstWAP for quality control,
• Complete availability and security of the software source code and of the software documentation to other departments of 1rstWAP, including, but not limited to, Operations and Management Departments, in respect of security and confidentiality rules established at 1rstWAP,
• Coordination, supervision of testing activities within his scope of development activities, including, but not limited to, module testing, integration testing, and performance testing in local (development) environment,
• Report about the testing activities mentioned here above to the Managing Director,
• Coordination, supervision of all the activities related to the Quality Assurance/Quality Control policy rules and procedures in his division, particularly, but not limited to, the implementation and respect of ISO quality rules as defined by 1rstWAP's Quality Assurance/Quality Control Group or department,
• Respect of ethical rules and security and confidentiality of the information including, but not limited to, the source code being developed by the IT Software.Developers, the respect of security rules (ensuring the confidentiality of personal login account and passwords, or of any other account and password, inside and outside 1rstWAP),
• Reporting of his activities on a periodical basis fixed by the Managing Director (usually weekly).

Job Requirements:

• S1 degree in Computer Science or IT discipline with 5 to 7 years in the software development and 2 to 4 years in Leader position
• Being able to work in an interrupt driven environment and to easily move from task to task while maintaining overall productivity.
• Being able to multi-task and work under pressure
• Ability to be careful and thorough with detail.
• Being able to work both independently and in a collaborative environment.
• Communicating fluently in English, both verbally and in writing
