A Security Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating security operations within an organization. They ensure the implementation of security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard the premises, assets, personnel, and information. This role involves a combination of administrative, managerial, and operational responsibilities, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate, implement, and manage security strategies and protocols with service provider
2. Oversee day-to-day security operations to ensure adherence to established standards.
3. Monitor security systems, such as surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems, ensuring their proper functioning.
4. Develop and update security policies, procedures, and protocols in alignment with industry best practices and organizational needs.
5. Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
6. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats or vulnerabilities.
7. Develop and implement measures to mitigate risks and address security concerns.
8. Coordinate responses to security incidents and emergencies.
9. Conduct investigations into security breaches, thefts, or other incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
10. Educate staff on security best practices and emergency procedures.
11. Collaborate with external security agencies, law enforcement, and vendors to enhance security measures.
12. Manage relationships with security service providers, ensuring contractual obligations are met.
13. Prepare regular reports on security metrics, incidents, and compliance.
14. Maintain accurate records of security-related activities, ensuring documentation is up-to-date.
15. Direct and supervise security staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
16. Ensure adequate staffing levels and schedules to cover security needs.

Requirement:

• A Diploma / bachelor's degree in a related field such as Law, criminal justice, security management, or a similar discipline is often preferred.
• Min. 5 years relevant work experience as security coordinator
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and best practices
• Familiarity with local and national security regulations and laws
• Risk assessment and management skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills and being able to operate MS Office 
• Leadership and team management skills
• Good knowledge in security software and systems, including access control, surveillance, and alarm systems.
• Holding a GADA UTAMA
• physical fitness and the ability to perform security-related tasks.
