Introduction

Holland Colours is an independent Dutch Company with subsidiaries in Europe, North Americas, Mexico and Asia. Holland Colours NV was founded in 1979 and has been listed on the NYSE Euronext Amsterdam Stock Exchange since 1989. The Holland Colours Group has been producing colorants for plastics, rubbers and coatings for 40 years. Structure Holland Colours is organized into three closely related divisions that cover specific geographic regions. The European division services all of Europe plus the Middle East and Africa. The Americas division supports North, Central and South America. The Asia division covers all of Asia and the Pacific Rim including Australia and New Zealand. Virtually all products offered by Holland Colours are manufactured internally. The majority of production is generated from one of five principal plants in the Netherlands, Hungary, the United States and Indonesia (Surabaya). Additionally, Holland Colours has distribution and/or small-scale manufacturing sites in England, Mexico, Canada and Indonesia (Jakarta). To assure that Holland Colours’ products are similar throughout the world, the production facilities have very similar manufacturing capabilities and raw material sourcing is done globally. The worldwide distribution of sales is as follows: Europe 50%, Americas 35% and Asia 15%.

The Division Asia consists of 2 companies, i.e. PT Holland Colours Asia with its headquarters in Surabaya and PT Holco Indo Jaya also in Surabaya. PT. Holland Colours Asia is one of the five principal plants with sales, laboratory and production facilities. In Jakarta the company has a sales office with lab. The company sells its unique Holcobatch and Holcoprill products as well as masterbatches and liquid colorants in Indonesia and other countries in the Asia Pacific region. PT. Holland Colours Asia employs approximately 100 people.
